Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled

Process Engineer

to join our innovative and fast-growing

food manufacturing startup

. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a high-growth environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence.

You will be responsible for

analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes

to improve efficiency, product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance. The role also requires strong

data analytics capability

, including the creation of

reporting dashboards and KPI tracking tools

to support data-driven decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping scalable manufacturing systems while contributing to continuous improvement across the business.

Duties



Conduct

root cause analysis

to identify process inefficiencies and implement robust, sustainable solutions. Create, interpret, and verify

technical drawings, process flow diagrams, and equipment layouts

using

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

to ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance. Design, develop, and optimize

food production, packing, and storage processes

to improve throughput and product quality. Lead

continuous improvement initiatives

focused on waste reduction, cost efficiency, yield optimization, and performance enhancement. Collaborate with

cross-functional teams

(Operations, Quality, R&D, Maintenance, and Supply Chain) to improve both

manufacturing and back-office operational processes

. Develop

data analytics dashboards and KPI reporting

to monitor production performance, quality metrics, and operational efficiency. Create detailed

process layouts, equipment integration schematics, and workflow diagrams

for new and existing production lines. Support the development of

training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

related to equipment operation and process improvements. Actively support

food safety, GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance

across all process designs and improvements.

Experience



Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Process Engineering

(or a closely related discipline).

Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment

, ideally within

food production, packaging, or FMCG

industries. Strong proficiency in

CAD software

such as

AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent

for developing process layouts, equipment integration, and technical schematics. Demonstrated experience

building KPI dashboards and operational reports

, with a strong understanding of key manufacturing metrics (OEE, yield, waste, downtime, throughput, quality). Practical knowledge of

root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies

(e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, Six Sigma, Lean). Proven ability to

lead continuous improvement initiatives

that reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance product quality. Solid

technical understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and industrial equipment schematics

in a production environment. Experience working in a

lean startup or high-growth environment

, with the ability to operate with limited resources, move quickly, and scale processes effectively.

Hands-on, on-site engineer

who takes full ownership of projects from concept through implementation--not remote or purely desk-based. Strong knowledge of

GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance

within a food manufacturing setting. Strong

analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

to support operational excellence.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
