Process Engineer:
Effective process control is essential for every manufacturing business to ensure the robust operation of manufacturing processes.
As a Process Engineer with Amphenol Invotec you will be dedicated to a certain area of the business, with responsibility for the optimisation of all the processes that fall under your span of control. This involves ensuring that all operating methods are clearly documented, maintained and continually developed.
You will ensure that any deviations to quality are investigated through to determination of root cause and the subsequent implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Your area is within your control - so you are accountable for the performance achieved.
With the evolution of technology enhancements, you will work to review, understand and align the capability of the production processes to reliably and robustly achieve the needs and demands of our customers.
Support from the Technical Manager will develop skills and attributes to manage full ownership of the designated manufacturing processes that fall within your area, and you will be accountable for ensuring quality, cost, delivery and customer service levels are maintained to the required standard.
Minimum Qualifications:
Should be educated to a minimum ONC (preferably HNC or Degree) level, within an engineering or manufacturing discipline, or have appropriate experience in a PCB manufacturing environment.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt would be advantageous.
Previous experience of chemical processing within the PCB Industry would be advantageous.

Hours of work:
38 hours per week - 08:30-17:00 Monday - Thursday and 08:30-15:00 Friday.
This role will be on site at our Tamworth site.
