Skinade is sold exclusively into the professional beauty channel - plastic surgeons, dermatologists, skin clinics, beauty salons and spas. It is also sold online through our own website, but is not available through outlets like Amazon, pharmacies or grocery stores. Skinade is the World's No. 1 professional grade skincare drink.

We currently produce our signature 150ml bottles and 4 gel concentrate products in house in our facilities in Twickenham, UK and Chantilly, VA, USA.

THE POSITION

Process Operator - Engineering-Focused Role


Location:

Twickenham

Budget:

Up to 28,000 (dependent on experience)

Working Hours:

8 hours/day, Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm), 40 hours/week

We are seeking a

Process Operator

with a strong engineering mindset to oversee and optimize the daily production of Skinade liquid and other concentrate products. This role is ideal for candidates with a background or keen interest in mechanical, industrial, or production engineering who are looking to apply their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Working with food-grade materials, this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strict adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, and an ability to troubleshoot and refine mechanical processes.

Primary Responsibilities



Setup and Configuration:

Prepare the cleanroom environment, machinery, and tools for daily operations, ensuring all equipment is configured for optimal performance.

Equipment Oversight:

Inspect raw materials, set up production machinery, and ensure all systems function safely and efficiently.

Machinery Operation:

Operate production equipment with precision, adhering to operational standards and safety guidelines.

Maintenance and Cleaning:

Conduct regular cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery, and assist in preparing materials and equipment for upcoming production shifts.

Quality Assurance:

Perform quality control tests, record results, and dispatch product samples to third-party labs for microbiological analysis.

Process Optimization:

Collaborate with the Production Manager to refine and enhance production workflows, ensuring maximum efficiency and product quality.

Key Skills and Attributes



A solid understanding of

engineering principles

in a production or manufacturing context. Experience with

equipment operation

and troubleshooting in mechanical or industrial settings. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple aspects of production efficiently. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors. A proactive approach to

problem-solving

, with a focus on continuous improvement. Familiarity with hygiene and cleaning standards in a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous. Enthusiasm for

professional development

in a growth-oriented organization with opportunities for advancement.

Preferred Qualifications



A background or strong interest in

mechanical, industrial, or production engineering

. Prior experience as a Process Operator or in a related technical role. Proficiency in basic computer skills for data logging and reporting.

Physical Requirements



Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
