We are proud to provide high quality glass packaging for beer, wine, spirits, food, non-alcoholic beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Process Operator for the Hot End of our manufacturing facility in Harlow, Essex. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC) position, ideal for a reliable individual looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Operate and monitor hot end production equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality Conduct regular quality checks and adjust process parameters as necessary Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations Record production data and complete necessary documentation accurately and efficiently Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any equipment malfunctions promptly Participate in safety briefings and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment


We operate 24/7, 365 days a year, the shift pattern would be 6 on 2 off rotating through mornings, afternoons and nights after you have completed your initial training and safety sign off.

Qualifications

Secondary education or equivalent; relevant vocational qualifications in manufacturing or engineering preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in hot end processes Knowledge of hot end manufacturing processes and quality control procedures Proficiency in operating and monitoring production equipment Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting Experience with process control systems and equipment Understanding of glass or similar materials processing (if applicable to the specific industry) Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a factory environment
