With growing demand, Gower View Foods is expanding and seeking Liquid Processing Operators to join the team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of its liquid processing operations.
The Opportunity
As a Liquids Processing Operator, you will work as part of the team responsible for manufacturing Gower View Foods' range of dairy products. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern food manufacturing company, with full on-the-job training provided. Key Responsibilities will include:
Set up, operate and maintain liquid processing equipment, including pasteurisation, separation, homogenization, ultrafiltration, and butter churning.
Performing CIP (Cleaning in Place) processes to maintain hygiene, ensure food safety, and keep equipment in optimal working condition.
Recording process date and taking corrective action as required.
Planning and arranging production processing to meet production demand.
Collaboration with other teams across the factory to maximise efficiency and performance.
Monitoring processes to ensure efficiency and minimal waste.
Performing regular quality checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
Troubleshooting minor technical issues and escalating major faults when necessary.
Ensuring all safety and hygiene regulations are followed in line with food production standards.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
What we are looking for:
Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
A proactive individual with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (or willingness to learn).
Flexibility to work shift patterns if required.
