SPC Europe, based in Westbury is a growing dynamic manufacturing company, producing rubber compounds within the UK for specialised applications throughout the globe. We are renowned for exceptional quality and customer service. Our process lines are equipped with state-of-the-art machineries and excellent standard of cleanliness.

We are looking for Process Operators in our flagship plant in Westbury, Wiltshire.

Work patterns

48 hours per week over 4 Days, 12-hour shifts; we have vacancies in all three shifts:

a) Day Shift - 6am to 6pm

b) Night Shift - 6pm to 6am

c) Rotating Shift - Alternating Days and Nights on a weekly basis

Working in a production environment as part of a team

Producing rubber compounds

Operating manufacturing equipment

Reliability and good time-keeping

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Experience working long shifts

Physical and mental strength

Self-motivated and good team-player

Fork lift trained would be an advantage but not essential (training will be given)

Holidays -

20 days + Bank holidays if they fall on a day you normally work.

Fixed Holidays: you will be required to take annual leave during company shutdowns, currently, 2 weeks (8 days) in summer and 6 days at Christmas; this may vary from one year to the other.

Salary;

starting at 12.58 per hour (night hours enhance of 5.05 p.h.), going up to 13.63 p.h. (night hours enhance of 5.70) once trained.
