Due to present business needs we have vacancies for Production Operatives. Successful applicants will be trained to work as skilled operatives within production in our Weaving (Wilton and Axminster) or Finishing Departments.

Essential Criteria:

Numeracy and literacy skills

Ability to communicate effectively, with an eagerness to learn

Manual dexterity

Flexible, organised and motivated

Ability to work to effectively unsupervised and on own initiative, in an efficient manner

Ability to work in a team, with a positive and can-do attitude

Ability to work the hours of the department you are placed in which may include a 2 shift or a 3 shift

Desirable Criteria:

Relevant experience

Preference may be given to applicants with industrial hand stitching/mending/textile experience.

Rate of pay:

Dependant on the area placed in and working hours arrangement.

An additional shift allowance is applied if you are required to work night shift.

As skills develop there is an opportunity to move to the full production rates.

Interviews will be arranged on an on-going basis until positions are filled.
