Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safe working practices.
Recognising actual and potential hazards and taking the correct action/s to avoid
accidents.

Ensure the processes and operations in production are carried out effectively and at the appropriate time, maintaining a 'Right First Time' quality mind set in all operations.

Follow Company procedures for the correct disposal of waste ensuring a 'clean as you go' philosophy is adopted to maintain housekeeping standards in line with a food manufacturing environment. (GMP)

Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are at an acceptable standard before other duties, including maintenance, are carried out.

Adhere to all site quality systems and procedures to safeguard product quality. Take immediate action escalating any concerns to your Team leader.

Complete all records and paperwork for the processes carried out, these must be legible and accurate (e.g., handover logs, quality records, etc.).

Conduct your operating duties following specific SOPs for the task you are undertaking.

To support effective and accurate product changeovers to ensure the production plan is met in full and on time.

To have a working knowledge of the machinery and associated equipment for your work area.

Follow set production programmes, understanding the importance of running to plan, to meet our daily production targets and the potential impact on customer service.

Learn and understand the Company's SCADA system.

Desirable Qualifications:

2 years' experience of working within a similar FMCG manufacturing / factory operation.

Good working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes, Safety Standards and Standard Operating Procedures

Good Computing skills - Excel. Word etc

Good analytical and numerical ability

Basic food hygiene Level 2 (Desirable)

IOSH Working Safely (Desirable)

SAP experience (Desirable)

Excellent levels of written and spoken English required.

Working Hours:

This is a 24/7 operation, working 12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends.

Pay: From 32,032.00 per year
