Process Technician (Injection Moulding)

Sovrin Plastics is a world class injection moulding and Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) of medical devices. We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Process Technician working in our Injection Moulding Department.

Key responsibilities:

Keeping moulding machines working at their optimum performance. Installing and changing mould tools in a safe and efficient manner. Setting Injection Moulding Machine, Robot and ancillary equipment parameters to pre-determined settings. Submit first off samples to Quality Assurance for approval. Ensure quality standards are maintained. To undertake machine safety and maintenance checks. Updating ERP software with relevant production data. To make sure that the machines and surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy. To act immediately on any reported processing or machine problems.
Qualifications / Experience:

You must have a proven track record working in a hands-on manufacturing role. You must have hands-on experience of setting industrial machinery. Previous experience of Injection Moulding machinery and robotics is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided. You must have good verbal and written communication skills. A high attention to detail is essential. You must be a team player and have a strong work ethic. Experience in using ERP systems is an advantage. You must live within an easily commutable distance of our location.
Job type:

Site based, full time permanent contract. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30. Regular evening / weekend overtime (subject to business conditions). 25 days holiday + Bank holidays. Sick pay scheme. You must have the right to work legally in the UK. Remuneration: Competitive salary subject to experience.
