We are looking for degree educated or similar, candidates with full visa status, not post study, & experience of a food production environment.

Purpose of the role:
To assist in the efficient transfer of new and existing recipes and products, from kitchen concept to upscaled factory, as part of the NPD procedure, supporting product development and successful transfer to production,
Targeting factory processes.
This role has the responsibility for delivering focused development for high profile customers whilst developing the cost effectiveness of the site.
Ensure that concept desserts are successfully transferred from the kitchen to factory launch.
This role will work closely with all departments meeting the customer requirements for shelf life, commercial targets, consistency and organoleptic characteristics
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting with conducting and coordinating new product feasibilities and reporting the outcome, with relevant document control.
Trial management - Responsible for leading and coordinating kitchen recipes and upscaling for factory trials.
Will be required to assist in the planning and conducting of trials, collating all documentation required to generate the relevant information to complete clear, precise trial reports, which will enable customer specifications to be written.
Responsible for adhering to all retailers' policies and completing their relevant documents throughout the product launch process, with a good understanding of the manufacturing process and ingredient functionality.
Ensuring that all product information received from the innovation team is verified as correct.
The product manufacturing recipe must always be maintained and kept up to date with all necessary sign off.
Ensure that products meet the correct customer criteria and that following any product approval all relevant departments have the necessary information to complete the customer requirements for launch critical path.
Support in sharing all the process control information captured at trials, is generated and handed over and for ready for launch, and in line with the critical path.
Objectives:
The safe development of products that meet and or exceed customer expectations.
Meeting operational KPIs & production targets.
Setting objectives for direct reports developing wider teams' abilities and capabilities in line with organisational goals.
Complete risk assessments and develop corrective action plans.
Ensure natural communications with Production Teams and all other departments using a range of methods to ensure that the shifts run efficiently and within the agreed practices and procedures.
