We are seeking a commercially focused analyst with experience in building construction and maintenance procurement to lead a comprehensive review of supplier arrangements and associated costs. This role will be pivotal in identifying opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier value, and operational efficiency -- particularly across facilities, capital works, and maintenance contracts.
The successful candidate must be confident engaging with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and suppliers. A high level of emotional intelligence, resilience, and diplomacy will be essential.

Who you are
Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Strong background in commercial analysis in a procurement setting, with a focus on construction and maintenance services.
Experience reviewing and managing supplier contracts related to building works, M&E services and facilities management.
Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with procurement or CAFM systems is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver actionable insights.
Desirable
CIPS qualification or equivalent procurement certification.
Understanding of capital project procurement and contractor performance management.
Experience working in building/construction and theatre environments.

What the role includes
Conduct a full audit of current supplier contracts, with a focus on construction, maintenance, and facilities management.
Analyse spend data across capital projects, reactive and planned maintenance, and building services.
Benchmark supplier pricing and performance against industry standards and comparable venues.
Engage with operational, technical, and senior stakeholders to understand service delivery and satisfaction levels.
Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, renegotiation, or re-tendering.
Provide commercial recommendations to the Finance Director to improve value for money and long-term asset performance.
Deliverables
Supplier audit report with cost breakdowns and risk assessments.
Benchmarking analysis and market comparison for key service areas.
Strategic recommendations report with prioritised actions.
Presentation of findings to senior leadership, with implementation roadmap.
