Altus Education Partnership is a thriving and rapidly growing multi-academy trust, currently comprising four high-performing schools including the nationally recognised Rochdale Sixth Form College. With several new schools set to join, this is a pivotal time to become part of our dedicated central team.

We are looking to appoint a Procurement and Contracts Officer to lead and deliver high-impact, value-driven procurement and contract management services across the Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a Trust-wide procurement strategy.

About the role



Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will:

Lead procurement projects and develop the Trust's procurement strategy Drive cost-efficiencies across all non-pay expenditure Manage supplier performance, tender processes, and contract negotiations Provide expert guidance on procurement best practices and compliance Maintain an accurate register of contracts and manage key supplier relationships Identify and secure additional funding opportunities through successful bid writing

You'll play a pivotal role in helping the Trust maximise value for money, ensure compliance with procurement regulations, and support long-term financial sustainability.

About you



We're looking for someone who:

Has experience in procurement, contract management or similar roles Is highly organised with strong analytical and negotiation skills Possesses excellent attention to detail and communication skills Is confident working independently and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders Holds or is willing to gain a relevant procurement qualification (e.g. CIPS) Has knowledge of public sector procurement frameworks and regulations (desirable)
