Assistant to the Procurement Manager
, based at our Cardiff office.

You will work closely with our Procurement Manager, gaining hands-on experience and learning how materials, plant, and services are sourced and managed across a wide range of projects.
Initial Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Procurement Manager, your initial responsibilities will focus on administrative and organisational support, including:
Assisting with requests for materials, plant, and services from site and project managers
Supporting the identification of suitable materials, suppliers, and services
Assisting with placing and tracking orders
Liaising with suppliers regarding availability, deliveries, and documentation
Maintaining procurement records, purchase orders, and related information
Full training and ongoing support will be provided, and you will not be expected to have prior industry knowledge.
Development & Progression
This role offers genuine long-term progression. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you will be supported to take on increased responsibility, including:
Sourcing and tendering materials and services
Communicating directly with suppliers and building strong relationships
Supporting pricing discussions and commercial negotiations
Developing technical knowledge of electrical, construction, and renewable energy products
