Component Distributors Group is the largest independent wholesale distributor of vehicle parts in Ireland. Thanks to an ongoing period of significant growth, we are currently recruiting for a Procurement Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, dynamic and friendly Commercial team and would be suited both to those with previous experience or as an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills to make a first step into procurement.

Role Summary

Support the Brand Managers in the creation and maintenance of accurate master data in our ERP system (Autopart) i.e. SKU creation, actioning range updates, creating product descriptions, loading barcodes, product dimensions, ordering information such as pack sizes etc. Seeking out potential issues by comparing our master data to Supplier information and submitting changes for approval to the Brand Manager Support the Inventory Planners in reconciling back-orders, maintaining purchase orders, submitting customs declarations, organising shipment collections and resolving delivery issues etc. Coordinate with internal departments (eg. finance, operations, sales) to align purchasing activities with business needs. Carry out other administrative tasks such as data entry and report generation Ability to work to Daily / Weekly / Monthly routines and processes while adapting to adhoc commercial priorities as they may arise.

Essential Criteria

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. GCSE English & Maths grade C or above

Desirable Criteria

Previous admin experience advantageous Third Level Education advantageous but not essential Industry experience advantageous but not essential
