The Role







The

Procurement Executive Apprentice

will support the purchasing and procurement activities within Techary's global operations. This role will provide hands-on experience in raising purchase orders, liaising with suppliers, tracking deliveries.



Working closely with the Procurement & Operations Manager, you will gain exposure to the full procurement cycle, from order request through to fulfilment, while learning how to manage supplier relationships, resolve order issues, and maintain accurate procurement records. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone looking to start a career in procurement and develop practical skills in a fast-paced, international environment.




Duties & Responsibilities






Assist with processing purchase order (PO) requests in line with procurement policy. Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules. Support the tracking of orders from confirmation through to delivery. Support the handling of vendor queries and help resolve issues. Maintain procurement records and update supplier databases. Assist in generating procurement reports and basic spend analysis. Provide general administrative support to the procurement function. Access to information or data which can be analysed Proactively support/coach 2 or more colleagues to produce documents Enough authority to challenge working practices/procedures (to improve them) Being able to communicate with external customers/stakeholders Manage meetings (organise, take minutes & chair) Manage logistics (arrange travel or managing how resources are acquired, stored, and transported to destination) Organise, plan and leadprojects to improve a process or operation proactively. Problem solving, make suggestions and decision making



Essential Skills






Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively. Willingness to learn and develop within a procurement environment.



Preferred Skills






Interest in IT procurement or technology products.



Education & Qualifications






GCSEs or equivalent (including English and Maths) required.
