Post: Procurement Governance and Capability Manager Grade: FRS F Salary range: 54,332 - 70,549 per annum Contract type: Permanent Working pattern: Full-time Application closing date: 4 PM on Monday 03 November 2025 London Fire Brigade (LFB) is London's Fire and Rescue Service - one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world. This includes enhancing our procurement and commercial capabilities through robust systems, efficient processes, and a focus on delivering value. We are recruiting a Procurement Governance and Capability Manager to oversee compliance with the Procurement Act and other Regulations. This is a pivotal role within the Procurement Operations and Enablement team. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for the creation and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, the e-sourcing platform, capability within the wider procurement team, overseeing risk, assurance, and disaster recovery information, the procurement webpage, intranet & SharePoint pages. Key Responsibilities o Procurement related policies, procedures and e-sourcing systems to ensure compliance with the Procurement Act 23 and other regulations o Develop a capability roadmap and action plan for the Procurement team o Promote procurement best practice through user engagement and accessible materials o Monitor and report on compliance metrics, procurement cycle times and other KPIs as part of a balanced scorecard approach o Develop a webpage, intranet page and SharePoint page to promote best practice and compliance Key Requirements o Experience in public sector procurement governance and compliance o In-depth knowledge of PA23 and public procurement regulations and requirements o Experience in capability assessments and developing and implementing training o Ability to manage user compliance and develop promotional materials Further information about the main duties and responsibilities of the role are detailed in the job description. Assessment Overview

Experience in public sector procurement governance and compliance. 2. In-depth knowledge of PA23 and public procurement regulations and requirements. 3. Experience in capability assessments and developing and implementing training. 4. Ability to manage user compliance and develop promotional materials .
