Job Description

On behalf of The Home Office, we are looking for a Procurement Manager (Inside IR35) for a 12 month hybrid contract, based in the North East, London, Birmingham, Manchester or Durham.

As a Procurement Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

The successful candidate must provide support across all activities within the procurement lifecycle. Responsibilities include assisting in developing procurement plans, conducting market analysis, engaging with the market, preparing procurement documentation, negotiating with suppliers, and participating in governance activities This role requires working collaboratively with the commercial team to ensure successful delivery of procurement objectives

Essential:

IT procurement experience Contract drafting Experience in running procurement under PCR 2015 Support Negotiation sessions CIPS Level 4, 5 or 6 SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

Desirable:

Proficiency in using Jaggaer e-procurement tool, or the ability to learn it quickly.
