The Role



We are seeking an experienced

Procurement Manager

to join our team.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Lead procurement of goods, services, and subcontracted works for PV installations with focus on cost and quality

Manage procurement across live and upcoming projects in line with delivery and technical plans

Build and maintain reliable relationships with key suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors in the solar/renewables supply chain.

Monitor and maintain procurement tracker across projects, providing regular updates to delivery and design teams.

Attend weekly planning meetings with senior management, design teams, and site supervisors to coordinate procurement timelines.

Oversee weekly stock requests from site teams, ensuring timely fulfilment and optimal stock levels.

Drive cost-saving initiatives and consolidate suppliers to reduce spend and improve margins

Forecast material needs and lead times based on project pipeline and supplier performance.

Track procurement budgets, analyse spend trends, and support reporting for internal and external frameworks.

Ensure compliance with procurement policy, framework rules, and public sector regulations

Manage supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and onboarding of new vendors.

Stay updated on market trends, supply chain risks, and solar PV innovations.

Coordinate between design, commercial, and delivery teams to support procurement milestones.

Must Haves:



3-5 years' experience in a procurement or buying role in energy, infrastructure or construction sectors.

Experience working on solar PV or renewable energy projects is desirable.

Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Proficient in Excel and procurement software/tools.

Familiarity with procurement frameworks (e.g. public sector tenders) is a plus.

A degree in relevant field is desirable
