We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Procurement Manager offering remote working with travel/meetings across Amey offices

HOURS OF WORK:

37.5 Hours, Monday to Friday



Join our vibrant, inclusive community in Complex Facilities Procurement. The Procurement Manager will assist in our FM business with their operational procurement requirements providing support to the business in accessing their nominated suppliers, the broader Amey preferred supply chain as well as sourcing new suppliers to deliver the business needs.

What you will do:

Day to day strategic management of Procurement activity in a fast-paced operational environment. Performance management of suppliers including chairing quarterly business reviews, helping to build supplier capacity where appropriate and collaborative working to achieve better business decisions and value within Amey Management of designated category responsibilities; leveraging Amey buying power, relationships and expertise to ensure all goods, materials and services are supplied at market Leading competitive pricing Establishment of category strategies to include purchases, market intelligence and sourcing plans to meet the needs of the relevant business Use of management information to improve supply and processes Development of management information and reporting Supplier / Internal stakeholder management Spend trend analysis / compliance with strategies to resolve leakage Apply the Amey Corporate Procurement Process Develop and execute specific product / service Master Agreements as part of supplier / category management responsibilities Achieve and report procurement cost savings Work with Transaction Services Master Data team to ensure robust procurement data in SAP Support the Business Units with sound procurement support Input into Strategic Procurement planning activity Monitor key service level agreements and key performance indicators Leading and raising the profile of Social Value from within the wider Procurement Teams Understanding of risk management and its application to procurement To undertake any other duties that might reasonably be expected of this post to achieve the successful delivery of the service

What you will bring:

Procurement expertise within a large complex organisation A track record in conducting firm, fair and ethical negotiations with suppliers Knowledge of Facilities Management Procurement in particular Hard and Soft Services Ability to interpret data and analyse using Excel at an intermediate level Knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain management principles Commercial experience around price negotiation, request for quotation and tender activity Knowledge of SAP or similar operating systems Have the vision to explore and develop leading edge procurement solutions
