Job Description
VPK LTD is a dynamic and growing construction and furniture manufacturing company. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer / Purchasing Officer to join our team and play a key role in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, equipment, and services to support our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Source and purchase materials for both
construction projects
andfurniture production
(e.g., cement, steel, wood, fabrics, hardware, finishing materials). Request quotations, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing. Issue purchase orders and monitor deliveries to meet project and production schedules. Ensure quality and compliance of all materials with required standards and specifications. Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and cost reports. Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and production supervisors to align material requirements. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff. Support continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier relationships.Requirements
At least 2years experience as a
Purchasing Officer / Procurement Officer / Buyer
(preferably in construction or furniture manufacturing). Knowledge of material sourcing and supplier management. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with ERP systemsJob Type: Full-time
