Essential duties & responsibilities



To ensure the efficient, effective and systematic procurement of goods and services, delivering best value to ECG. Effective monitoring of procurement contracts. Development of transparent tendering processes and schedules. Development of best practice in procurement. Create, issue and track purchase orders to ensure all goods and services are delivered on time. Manage supply chain partner relations to ensure long term consistency. Generate timeous, highly accurate reports to internal stakeholders on category spend. Support internal stakeholders with procurement strategies. Work with Mecsia Group stakeholders to ensure group strategies meet the needs of ECG. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure ECG strategies have the same synergies as those of the Mecsia Group. Analyse current contractual agreements/provisions and develop strategies to ensure conformance of non-compliant supply chain partners. Advise of new or emerging ideas and or processes which may have a positive role in developing the relationship between procurement and all other areas of the business. * Development of systems and reporting automations working in conjunction with ECG's internal Work Hub Team.
