Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high levels of service and quality. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods. Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities. Maintain accurate records in procurement systems, including SAP and Oracle EBS, for tracking purchases and supplier performance. Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively. Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong understanding of logistics processes and supply chain dynamics. Relevant qualifications in business administration, logistics, or a related field would be advantageous.
