Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position requires strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of supply chain logistics, and proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data within ERP systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process.

Experience

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management is essential. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle EBS, or other ERP systems is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management. Knowledge of logistics processes and supply chain dynamics. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess data for informed decision-making. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
