What you'll be doing:
Support the development and implementation of Category Sourcing Strategies
Support and lead the negotiation of long-term supplier contracts for designated range of products and materials
Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers at all levels to deliver enhanced competitive and commercial performance within the contract framework
Drive improvements in annual total costs for specific commodities and products
Support supplier approval and onboarding process in collaboration with Supplier Quality Team and other functional support areas as required.
Identify, Report and Mitigate Category and Supplier Risks
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Experience with Procurement sourcing
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across internal and external stakeholders
Ability to analyse data, negotiate with suppliers, propose value-driven solutions and present clear recommendations
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
MCIPS qualified or willing to work towards if not currently held
Contract negotiation skills and familiarity with contract terms and language
