We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in Animal Nutrition & Health. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, your role will cover the British Isles (UK and Ireland) and will have close contact with our Sales & Premix production site in Heanor, Derbyshire where this role is based.


This role is key to supporting the efficient sourcing and procurement & Supply of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and supplier performance, while maintaining compliance with company standards and values.

Your key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including placing purchase orders and tracking deliveries Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery performance. Support contract negotiations and supplier relationship management Collaborate with internal departments to forecast needs and align procurement with business goals Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function

You bring

Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or a supply chain role in a manufacturing or industrial environment CIPS qualifications SAP experience is necessary High attention to detail and organisational skills Strong negotiation and communication skills A strong sense of accountability - you take initiative, speak up, and see things through. You are responsible and focus on what matters
