Roper Rhodes is one of Britain's leading companies in Bathroom products. We are looking for a talented & enthusiastic Product Analyst to support the Product Design team at our headquarters in Bath, UK. The successful applicant will report to the Head of Category - Furniture and will work within our Product Design Team, supporting them with all aspects of product data associated with our broad product range.
The role will provide administrative and analytical support to help ensure the proficient running of the Product Design Department.
The ideal candidate should preferably have a year's experience gained from an internship/industrial placement spent within a Product Data Management related role. The role is based at our Headquarters in the city of Bath with occasional travel to our premises in Bristol. There is the opportunity for some hybrid working after a period of employment.
The key elements of the role are as follows:
Managing product data at SKU level, including liaison with our Marketing and Digital teams to ensure marketing copy is correct and accurate, and ensure consistency in categorisation of data.
Managing and further developing our new PIM (Product Information Management) System.
Acquiring product data from our international vendor base.
Working with our customer base to provide product data which they require.
Performing statistical analysis of our product sales data.
Review pricing across the industry.
Conducting market and competitor research.
Assisting in creating New Product launch, sales and customer presentation collateral.
The Applicant:
The successful applicant will have recently graduated with a good standard degree in a Business / Business Systems / Computer Science or a Product / Engineering related discipline, ideally with a period of work experience gained during their degree studies.
Key Skills:
First or upper second-class degree.
Some experience of Database management - either a PIM system, SAP or SQL.
A good knowledge of Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel, PowerBI, Word & PowerPoint.
A strong mix of knowledge in both the business and technology arenas.
Experience of working in busy teams to a high degree of accuracy, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and keep calm under pressure.
A strategic and analytical mind.
Proficient planning, prioritising and organisational abilities.
Very bright and practical, with outstanding communication skills.
Capability to work and liaise internally and externally with people at all levels.
Highly self-motivated and able to use initiative to achieve the required results.
Preferred Skills:
Some experience of working with Python / other coding solutions.
Some experience of Adobe Creative Suite / SolidWorks would be advantageous, although training will be given.
Experience in liaising with customers and suppliers, both in the UK and overseas.

Salary & Other Benefits:
Whilst this is going to be dependent upon the candidate's experience and skills, the salary guide is circa 26k to 31k p.a. and provides a great opportunity to kick start your career in a highly dedicated and skilled design team.
In addition to this we have a company profit related bonus scheme, as well as pension and Life Assurance schemes.
Holiday allowance starts at 25 days in the first year (pro rata). After 3 years' service entitlement will raise to 26 days and a further additional day is awarded after 5 years' service taking entitlement to 27 days (plus bank holidays).
