Schroders Greencoat LLP is a specialist energy transition investment manager with approximately EUR11 billion under management across a range of publicly listed and private market fund vehicles.
Founded in 2009, Schroders Greencoat has been at the vanguard of the energy transition infrastructure opportunity for over a decade, building an extensive global network of key players, including developers, asset aggregators, and utilities. Our ambition is to be a global leader in the fast-growing alternative asset class of energy transition. Our expertise includes traditional renewable energy assets like wind and solar, as well as newer sectors such as batteries, heat pumps, heat networks, and green hydrogen.
Since 2022, Schroders Greencoat's parent company has been approximately 75% owned by the Schroders Group, with the remaining stake held by the senior Schroders Greencoat management team. Schroders plc is one of the largest asset managers listed on the London Stock Exchange, with over EUR900 billion assets under management and over 5,500 employees operating in 38 locations worldwide.
Following the acquisition by Schroders, the business rebranded from Greencoat Capital to Schroders Greencoat and became part of Schroders Capital, the group's EUR83 billion private asset business. Aside from infrastructure, Schroders Capital offers a diverse range of investment strategies, including real estate, private equity, private debt and credit alternatives, as well as impact investing.
Schroders Capital Infrastructure is the umbrella term for the infrastructure equity investment capabilities across the Schroders Group's private assets business, which encompasses team members at Schroders Greencoat LLP in the UK and other regulated entities throughout the Schroders Group internationally. Collectively, this comprises a team of over 130 staff with a presence in 8 countries across Europe, the United States, and China and has invested over EUR16.5 billion into approximately 450 energy transition assets at various project stages, with an aggregate capacity of around 7.7GW.
We are committed to equality of opportunity for all employees and encourage applications from individuals regardless of age, socio-economic background, race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious belief, or disability.
