Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product and Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic Product team, reporting to the Head of Procurement & Innovation. This pivotal role focuses on developing and managing contract furniture from initial concept through to market launch. You will oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring that all products meet cost, quality, sustainability, and delivery objectives while building strong supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement across the supply base.

What You'll Be Doing



Product Development



Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from idea generation, design, sampling, and costing through to production and final delivery. Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to transform market insights and customer needs into commercially successful products. Manage product timelines and ensure all critical path milestones are achieved. Analyse product performance and identify opportunities for improvement and cost optimisation.

Sourcing & Supplier Management



Work closely with the Procurement Manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals around cost, quality, sustainability, and lead time. Identify, evaluate, and onboard new global suppliers, ensuring alignment with business standards. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to optimise total cost of ownership.

General Responsibilities



Provide insights on sourcing opportunities, product trends, and wider market developments. Oversee range management, ensuring under-performing products are removed from the stock range. Complete administrative tasks required to set up product codes within the ERP system.

Highly proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A collaborative approach and strong commercial awareness. Experienced within the contract furniture market Depending on the candidate, there is an opportunity for a direct report
