The role supports the development of new and innovative sash window profiles and design variations. You will play a critical role in shaping future product offerings, providing technical expertise, and supporting our sales teams in securing high-value specification work across the UK.

You will be responsible for;

Profile & Product Design

Lead the conceptual and technical design of new sash window profiles and bespoke variations. Develop design solutions aimed at penetrating higher-end market segments and meeting specific customer or architectural requirements. Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing to ensure innovation aligns with our brand and commercial goals.

Technical Drawing & Detailing

Produce detailed technical drawings, including arches, bays, and other complex geometries commonly associated with sash window installations. Generate CAD-based documentation and visuals to support product understanding, production, and customer approvals.

Customer Liaison & Technical Support

Serve as a technical liaison to customers, architects, and contractors regarding compliance, installation of best practices, and product suitability. Provide on-site and remote support for projects ranging from small-scale renovations to large new-build developments. Help resolve technical challenges and ensure smooth implementation of our products.

Sales & Specification Support

Work in close partnership with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to support pitches, product presentations, and client meetings. Contribute to the specification process by offering credible, design-led solutions to architects, developers, and specifiers. Attend industry events and technical forums to represent the brand and promote our vertical sliding sash window systems.

Training & Development

Support the ongoing technical training and professional development of internal team members, particularly within sales, production, and customer service departments. Create and deliver structured training content, including technical documentation, CPD materials, and product knowledge sessions. Mentor junior staff and promote knowledge sharing across departments to enhance technical competency and consistency.

Continuous Improvement

Being an active participant and team player in the positive development and growth of a continuous improvement culture. Actively contribute to the company's continuous improvement efforts and embrace a culture of collaboration and innovation. Provide feedback on internal processes and take part in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiencies. Drive company growth by continuously improving systems, processes, and collaboration between teams
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in product design, architectural detailing, or technical specification. Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit). Solid understanding of building regulations and construction detailing and a full UK driving license. Experience in the fenestration or building products sector, ideally with exposure to sash windows or related systems.
