About the
Role
We're looking for a product designer to join our team and help shape user experiences that truly make a difference. In this role, you'll be working collaboratively within a squad to design solutions that are both user-centric and data-driven. You'll place users at the heart of everything you do, using robust research and analytics to validate your design decisions and drive meaningful business outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
Leverage user testing platforms to validate all designs with target audiences
Conduct regular user research sessions and develop comprehensive user personas and journey maps for all key product areas
Support business decisions and client conversations with concrete data
Consider customers' understanding, emotional responses, and needs for all features and copy to ensure alignment with FCA Consumer Duty
Maintain accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusive design for all users.
Must have skillset:
Strong UX principles and research knowledge
- You have a solid foundation in UX (70%) and UI (30%), with the ability to conduct meaningful research and translate findings into design solutions
Data-driven mindset
- You're passionate about data and can drive conversations and make design decisions backed by analytics and user insights
Squad experience
- You've worked effectively within cross-functional teams and understand collaborative design processes
Excellent communication skills
- You can manage stakeholders effectively and present your work with clarity and confidence
Desirable:
Curiosity and adaptability
- You keep up with the latest design and research tools, and can manage shifting priorities with ease
Technical understanding
- Experience working closely with developers to bring designs to life, able to understand some technical limitations with developers.
