CK Group are recruiting for a Product Development Support to join our client at their site based in Milton Keynes on a full time, permanent basis for a salary around \xc2\xa335,000 - \xc2\xa340,000 depending on experience.

Your main duties will involve:

• Overseeing product recipe development through the plant trial process.
• Managing of the site operations database
• Liaising with the Product Development Group regarding the introduction of new products, managing new and existing products through the trialprocess, customer issues investigation and preparation and dispatch of samples
• Providing plant input to optimise grade development and manufacturing procedures
• Carrying out product validation as part of the product audit process as required
• Ensuring all laboratory colour measurement equipment is selected, maintained and calibrated to enable the QC team to deliver a high standard of QC testing to the site
• Ensuring that product release is verified and completed in an accurate and timely manner

Your Background:

• HND / degree level in polymer chemistry/chemistry/materials science or other related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a laboratory or materials testing environment.
• Experience gained in the polymers, materials or chemical industry an advantage.
• Recognised Laboratory qualifications, auditor qualification (to international standards such as ISO 9001)
• Physically capable of performing polymer testing and preparation of test specimen (Occasional lifting of 25kg required)
