SDUK's brands include the Nation's favourite cheese brand Cathedral City plus other well-known butter & spreads (Clover, Country Life, Vitalite, Utterly Butterly), functional ingredients and dairy free products.


We're on the lookout for a curious, creative and hands-on Product Development Technologist to join our Cheese Innovation team. Whether you're already experienced in food development or just starting out and eager to learn, this is a brilliant opportunity to help shape the future of cheese products and packaging across our brands and Own Label ranges.

YOU'LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY...

Bringing new cheese and packaging ideas to life - from concept to launch. Supporting the delivery of our NPD programme to drive innovation and commercial success. Running feasibility studies, pilot trials and full-scale implementation. Managing packaging specs and due diligence documentation. Collaborating with teams across Marketing, Production, Procurement and more. Keeping our R&D spaces running smoothly - including kitchens, chill stores and packaging labs.

YOU'RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE...

Degree qualified in Food Science, Technology, Engineering or equivalent would be preferred Certification or formal training in food safety and hygiene standards is a must Experienced in the food industry, ideally in chilled products would be of advantage Knowledgeable or curious about cheese making and blending or packaging development Creative, organised, and a strong communicator
