Job Description

Avanti Recruitment is partnering with a scaling technology business building infrastructure software used by enterprise customers across regulated industries. They need a product engineer who can take ownership of complex technical problems, make sound architectural decisions, and deliver systems that work at scale.
THE ROLE
You'll be designing and building core platform features with real commercial impact: Own significant parts of the product architecture and technical direction Build backend systems that handle volume, complexity, and integration with enterprise environments Work closely with technical leadership and customers on what needs to exist Make decisions about technology, architecture, and approach - not just execute someone else's design Ship production-grade software that customers depend on
TECH STACK
C# and .NET (modern versions) SQL Server / PostgreSQL Azure or AWS Microservices architecture Event-driven systems
WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR
Typically 4-8 years building production systems in C#/.NET environments Deep understanding of software architecture, not just coding Experience building systems from first principles - understanding why not just how Can navigate ambiguity and make good technical decisions with incomplete information Comfortable working with enterprise customers and understanding their constraints This is a role for someone who wants to build meaningful software, influence technical direction, and work on problems that require genuine engineering thinking.
