Renishaw Neuro Solutions Ltd. are looking for a product engineer to manage the manufacturing of our neurosurgery product range, control design changes for products throughout their lifecycles & support the implementation of production & business process improvements.
As a product engineer, you will be working closely with multi-discipline functions to maintain & develop medical devices that need to be both safe and effective. You will be required to oversee & support the manufacturing processes to ensure that our products meet medical standards.,
ResponsibilitiesOverseeing production and ensuring that products conform to market specifications and safety regulations.
Point of contact with sub-contract manufacturing processes.
Determining product change feasibility costs and return on investments.
Monitor & maintain production process & equipment
Own product improvements & procedural updates.
Create & maintain design & process risk assessments.
Failure analysis, including root cause, corrective & preventative actions.
Owning technical changes to implement process improvements and regulatory updates.
Key requirementsA degree in Engineering or relevant experience in a similar field.
Strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Experience in root cause analysis & corrective actions.
Good time/project management skills.
Ability to work independently & collaboratively in a team environment
Effective communicator and influencer
Good report writing skills
Desirable requirementsKnowledge of the medical device industry & processes.
Working Knowledge of ISO13485
Previous experience working in as a Production/Product Engineer.
Experience with CAD
Six Sigma training
