We partner with over 2,000 charitable organisations across the UK to install contactless card terminals and donation webpages to collect donations.

We are growing and are looking for a product-focused individual to join our team. This role is about developing our products to make charities more successful in fundraising. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your skills in this role in a fast-paced tech start-up environment.

What you'll be doing:



Own and manage the product backlog across Dona's mobile app, web platforms, APIs, and physical product firmware/configuration. Lead and line manage the development team, supporting their performance, growth, and delivery focus. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business and customer requirements, turning insight into actionable priorities. Translate requirements into clear user stories and tasks for the development team, ensuring alignment with goals and timelines. Test and validate completed work to ensure it meets requirements and quality standards before release. Coordinate and oversee software and hardware releases, managing deployments across all environments and communicating changes internally and externally.

Skills and experience we're looking for in a candidate:



Strong technical foundation, with a solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, and modern development practices (e.g., Agile, CI/CD, version control). Excellent communicator - clear and confident in both written and spoken English, able to engage effectively with both developers and end-users. Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and follow through on tasks without close supervision. Clear and patient explainer, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and turning business needs into developer-ready requirements. Adaptable and resilient, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities. Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role involving product ownership, technical leadership, or delivery coordination.

Working hours 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

Location:



Hybrid home and office working (office based in Hove). Expected to be in the office 1 day a week.

Pay: 40,000.00-60,000.00 per year
