About the Role:
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of our enterprise systems and lead a talented team of 40, including both on-shore and off-shore resources. As a senior figure within the domain, you will oversee the running of related development teams and focus on ensuring the consistent delivery of large-scale initiatives.
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing a strategic roadmap for your product group, defining both short-term and long-term objectives. You'll take a holistic view of the programme, assessing its organisational impact and managing the interdependencies between projects. This role demands a strong focus on risk management, ensuring the integrity, availability, and security of our systems.
You'll be the driving force behind a crucial initiative, with a balanced focus on strategic programme delivery and high-impact stakeholder management, particularly within our core finance department. You will ensure project quality and governance processes are followed and that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
About you:

  • You're an experienced programme manager, ideally from a large retail business, with a strong background in project management.
  • You possess deep expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle. Direct experience with Oracle Fusion would be a distinct advantage.
  • An accounting background would be a great asset in this role.
  • You're skilled at managing complex stakeholder relationships and can effectively protect and deliver for key business units.
  • You have a proven track record of leading and mentoring large, multifaceted teams, including both on-shore and off-shore resources.
  • You're a proactive and resilient leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional results.
  • While not required, a Prince 2 certification is desirable.
