We\xe2\x80\x99re incredibly excited to be partnering with this social enterprise as they look to bring their first product hire onboard. They\xe2\x80\x99ve had a few different programs over the years but their most recent is a Carbon reporting platform allowing businesses to understand the impact they\xe2\x80\x99re having on the environment and where they can adjust their operations to reduce their impact! This role would suit an established Product Manager looking for the next step or a Product Leader looking to be more hands-on in their day-to-day role.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing
As the first product hire for this organization you\xe2\x80\x99ll be in a very varied role. One day you could be working with international brands running discovery the next you could be prioritizing a product backlog and writing user stories then back to consulting government bodies the next!

You\xe2\x80\x99ll need to be a real self-starter and be able to shape what your own work will look like for the foreseeable future while also setting a clear outline for the direction of their new SaaS offering. The team is spread globally so you\xe2\x80\x99ll need incredibly clear communication skills to be able to support and uplift the other members of the team.

What experience you\xe2\x80\x99ll need
  • Firstly a want to make the world a better place and a passion for all things green-tech
  • Experience leading on Product Strategy while also being hands on with the delivery of the product.
  • A background working with Software-as-a-service products. Either Web-based or cloud software.
  • Experience taking a proposition from Minimum Viable Product to being a market leader in its space.
  • Exposure working with international clients and incredibly clear communication skills to back this up.
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research across their subject matter and being able to use this data to create actionable insights which can direct the products future development.
  • Confidence presenting complex subjects to those without subject matter understanding.
  • A strong understanding of Product Management and Delivery principles which you can also coach to other members of the business.
  • Any experience taking products to market in an international or global setting is a massive bonus.
