Community Education Product Manager

Salary: 38,587 to 40,724 per annum
Hours: 35 per week

As a Product Manager in our Community Education team, you'll lead the development and continuous improvement of impactful education products that support people in times of crisis. Working within an agile scrum team and alongside cross-functional partners, you'll ensure products are learner-centred, clinically valid, and educationally sound. You'll use data, feedback, and lived experience to shape product decisions, manage lifecycles, and contribute to strategic direction. Collaboration is key-whether it's with internal teams, external agencies, or communities themselves. You'll be at the heart of a mission-driven organisation, helping to deliver education that builds resilience and promotes kindness. This role offers the chance to influence national preparedness priorities while fostering inclusive practice and co-production.
What will a day in the life of a Community Education Product Manager involve?

• Leading agile product development and facilitating daily scrum meetings with a cross-functional team.
• Using data and feedback to shape product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborating with internal partners to ensure smooth implementation and optimisation of products.
• Working with content developers to create accurate, engaging, and learner-focused resources.
• Managing product roadmaps and sprint planning to keep development aligned with user needs.
• Building relationships with external experts and communities to co-produce meaningful education tools.

To be a successful Community Education Product Manager, what will you need?

• Proven experience managing education products through all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and working within scrum teams.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct line management.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a focus on collaboration and inclusion.
• Sharp analytical thinking and the ability to use data to inform decisions and assess impact.
• Commitment to co-production and inclusive practice, especially with communities with lived experience.
