Role Profile



Lloyd's List Intelligence is looking for a

Product Manager

to join its well established but rapidly expanding product team. They will be responsible for managing the development of our new Infospectrum Counterparty risk product including development, management, and enhancement of our Infospectrum product portfolio, ensuring they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business objectives.





This position presents an exciting opportunity for a product manager who has experience working with data and SaaS product delivery. Experience within the maritime industry and an understanding of the customer use cases is preferred. But by far the most important is the willingness to learn, at pace, about our customers' workflows and the solutions we provide to help them to navigate the regulatory, compliance and operational landscape.





Our product team is growing. This role oversees Infospectrum's product portfolio, working with Analysts, Data & Technology, Marketing, and Sales to ensure customer feedback guides our roadmap. Infospectrum provides maritime due diligence and KYC services for clients in insurance, bunkering, commodity supply, shipping, and legal sectors, helping them manage risk and maximise opportunities with expert intelligence reports.

Continual investment delivers high growth opportunities in specific markets and building an in-depth knowledge of our customers, their workflows and associated data and analytics needs is key to success in this role. You will work with the product management team to chart the strategic product roadmap, collaborating with our Data, Technology, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Programme Management and Sales teams to ensure successful implementation.



This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Head of Product Strategy. The location of this role is flexible and could be based in London or Singapore for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities



Develop a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs and how they use our existing products and data, and the competitive landscape Conduct customer interviews to understand in detail customer workflows and how their requirements align with our wider business objectives to articulate clear and compelling product roadmaps and strategies Translate customer knowledge into user personas, workflows, and detailed product briefs which serve as the blueprint for go-to-market activities and a major input into the product roadmap or discovery schedules Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and develop detailed product specifications and user stories to guide the development process Work in collaboration with our technology, data and development teams to manage and prioritise the backlog Work with data and technology teams and identify opportunities to enhance or extend existing data and analytics capabilities Create simple yet informative and action-led product reviews, with clear recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team, based on clear customer usage research, demonstrable benefit to the customer and evidenced by use cases Partner with Product Marketing to deliver compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies



What we are looking for:




Essential



At least 3 years' experience working in product management or a customer-facing delivery role, preferably with a focus on SaaS data products At least 2 years' experience partnering with commercial teams such as creating customer personas, understanding complex workflows and driving decisions on data and/or product improvements Minimum 2 years' experience in the maritime or related industry, with knowledge of key stakeholders and buyer/seller relationships. A commercially focused candidate who can translate customer needs into successful commercial product outcomes Experience of defining key features, specifications and requirements for a product based on customer feedback Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and working within an Agile environment Highly organised and attentive to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate insights and technical concepts at all levels of the business and customer organisations Team player who brings positive energy and the ability to influence, inspire and motivate cross-functional teams across the organisation Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to construct and evaluate different business model approaches to maximise ROI Proficient written and spoken English Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically Ability to use own initiative to troubleshoot problems and find solutions. A flexible, can-do attitude with the ability to manage several ongoing tasks at any one time
