As a Product Manager for Process Design Simulation you\xe2\x80\x99ll participate in the development of AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s lifecycle simulation strategy with direct responsibility over flagship products and supporting the transition to a next gen Process Design Simulation platform. The Product Manager is responsible for product strategy, development planning (roadmaps) and marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with the development team to deliver market-winning products. It also includes working with business segment leaders, sales, marketing, development, and other Product Managers to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager\xe2\x80\x99s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product line strategy and roadmaps, ensuring investments are prioritized in alignment with market requirements.
  • Evaluate existing products and develop strategies to drive towards a lifecycle simulation platform in line with AVEVA\xe2\x80\x99s strategy.
  • Responsible for product positioning in the marketplace and assisting with overall business plans.
  • Actively work with sales and marketing by performing product demos for prospects and existing users.
  • Prioritize features for each release with corresponding justification.
  • Collaborate with a variety of functional areas to develop and provide product definitions that respond to customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Represent AVEVA Simulation at selected Industry Conferences and technical committees through attendance, presentations and white papers.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in chemical or process engineering or a related subject.
  • 5+ years of experience in a role with process simulation.
  • Technical background with experience in Process industries, such as Chemicals, Refining or Gas Processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to present strategic messages in a simple, focused manner.
  • Able to engage with prospects and customers at an executive and technical level.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • High drive, commitment and energy within a fast-paced, challenging environment.
