Overview



The Product Manager will play a key role in the strategic development of the Communications Practice's product offerings, from conception to launch. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider product team to execute the product strategy, roadmap and feature set, ensuring delivery is aligned with company goals and market needs. This role will own the logistical planning and ensure timely delivery of roadmap items within the agreed scope.

The successful candidate will enable a clear path to delivery of not only the technical work on the product but the collateral surrounding the product, including thorough sales enablement materials.

The role demands a strong strategic thinker with technical acumen, communication skills and a drive for successful cross-team collaboration. The role will be fast paced to deliver impactful products



How you'll make an impact



Carry out market and competitor research, and understand customer needs in our key sales markets Curation of the strategic product delivery roadmap, oversight of tasks amongst the team, and awareness of resource constraints in line with product requirements and prioritisation requirements Articulate a clear vision for the product, alongside the Head of Technology, ensuring alignment with the Practice's future direction Gathering requirements and breaking down into clear user stories with defined success and acceptance criteria Backlog maintenance and efficient Jira ticket creation Ensure product development agrees within agreed budgets and reports back to Service Delivery Manager on profitability and performance Produce and maintain product documentation, ensuring alignment with business needs and planned release management processes



About You



Excellent verbal and written communication to articulate vision, requirements, and value to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical) Strategic thinking with a strong ability to see the big picture and align product decisions with business goals Ability to lead cross-functional teams, where delegated authority, build consensus, and motivate for successful delivery Comfortable prioritising clashing tasks where decisions may be time critical and/or conflicting Proactive in identifying and solving challenges throughout the product development lifecycle Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to debugging, optimisation, and refactoring Understanding of development processes to communicate effectively with colleagues and make informed decisions At ease with fast moving workflows needing the ability to pivot strategies and priorities in response to changing market conditions or feedback Strong Jira skills A keen eye for detail and history of problem solving

Desirable attributesBackground working on a productised platform or multi-tenant system serving multiple clients Understanding of user needs and pain points Ability to interpret data and use it to inform product decisions
