Job Description

Product Marketing Manager (AI - Prop-Sust Tech)

Location:

Hybrid (London office/home)

Contract Type:

12-month contract (Freelance) With possible room for extension.

Renumeration & Time:

Approx. 20hrs per week @ between 25 - 35 per hour

We're a brand new, pre-launch, Prop-Sust Tech start-up pioneering AI-driven solutions that help property owners and occupiers reduce carbon footprints, optimise energy use, and drive sustainable growth. Our latest platform integrates real-time data analytics, predictive modelling, and intuitive UX to serve both B2B clients (developers, asset managers) and B2C users (homeowners, tenants).

As our Product Marketing Manager, you'll be the bridge between our AI product, our go-to-market strategy, and our customers. You'll spearhead thought leadership, positioning, messaging, and launch plans--ensuring that both corporate and consumer audiences understand the value we deliver. You'll own the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle, collaborating internally with product, sales, and engineering teams, as well as coordinating with an external marketing agency for execution support.

Key Responsibilities

Positioning & Messaging:

Craft and refine clear, compelling value propositions tailored to B2B and B2C segments in the property sustainability market.

Go-to-Market Strategy:

Develop and execute launch plans--including channel selection, pricing guidance, and campaign roadmaps--for initial release and successive feature roll-outs.

Content & Collateral:

Produce sales enablement materials, whitepapers, case studies, website copy, demos, and customer success stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

Monitor industry trends in Prop-Sust and AI, benchmark competitor offerings, and identify market opportunities to inform roadmap prioritisation.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Work autonomously with internal teams (Product, Sales, Engineering) and manage relationships with an external creative/PR agency to deliver integrated campaigns.

Performance Tracking:

Define and report on KPIs (e.g., lead generation, conversion rates, product adoption), using data to optimise marketing tactics.
What We're Looking For

Experience:

3-4 years minimum in product marketing for digital/AI-driven software products, covering both B2B and B2C.

Sector Knowledge:

Background in construction, property management, sustainability tech, or adjacent fields is highly desirable.

Digital Marketing Expertise:

Hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, email marketing, webinars, social media, and marketing automation tools.

Go-to-Market:

Demonstrable track record of planning and executing successful product launches from concept through post-launch optimisation.

Autonomy & Collaboration:

Self-starter who can drive projects end-to-end and engage effectively with external agencies.

Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of distilling complex technical concepts into clear, audience-specific messages.

Location:

Must reside in or be able to commute regularly to our London office (hybrid model)
