Role Responsibilities: Connecting with the customer- In close partnership with the Product Manager, you will apply a customer-centric mindset along with design thinking tools to guide the ART toward
delivering solutions that are desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable. You should be aware of your customer and stakeholder's wants, needs and requirements, focusing on the key problems to solve. Contributing to the vision and roadmap- Whilst Product Managers contemplate the solutions and experiences an ART should deliver, POs understand what the ART can practically deliver. They take a pragmatic approach to this by conducting market research and representing the end user when feeding into ART backlog prioritisation and PI planning to ensure that feasibility and desirability of solutions is considered.
Managing and prioritising the team backlog- The PO is primarily responsible for maintaining the content and the conceptual and technical integrity of the team backlog. Specifically, you will be responsible for guiding on the creation and sign off user stories and prioritising the backlog in line with customer and stakeholder needs.

Getting and applying feedback- The PO is critical in enabling the continuous feedback loops that fuel the Agile Release Train. You must seek quantitative and qualitative feedback to develop a comprehensive understanding of where solutions are and are not providing real value. You will do this by testing benefit hypotheses, gathering feedback directly from customers and stakeholders, sharing feedback wider within the ART and work with Product Manager in evolving the solution design as necessary.
Product Design -Create MVP specifications, user stories, workflow diagrams and other artefacts as required to help elicit customer requirements and communicate them effectively to your delivery team. Lead UAT to ensure your solutions deliver upon the agreed outcomes.
