on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that will power the next generation of app security.


This is your chance to help shape the foundation of Promon's future by translating vision into strategy, and strategy into execution, working at the very heart of our new platform initiative.

The Role:

As Product Owner, you'll be at the center of turning Promon's company vision into reality. Working together with Product Managers, Product Leadership (VP Product & CPTO), other POs, architects, and engineers, you'll define the

platform strategy

and translate it into a clear roadmap.


This is a new and exciting role for Promon, and you'll need vision, creativity, and the proven ability to deliver. Lots of teams will depend on you to prioritize complex requirements that demand new platform features, balancing speed with quality while ensuring reliability and security. You'll also be expected to translate non-functional requirements, such as scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency, into concrete deliverables.


It's a dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, as you'll align and motivate technical stakeholders while guiding the platform engineering team on what to build and why. Experience with FinOps and platform testing techniques will help you ensure our cloud services are not just effective, but efficient and sustainable.

This isn't a typical PO role. Every stakeholder you interact with: platform engineers, consuming engineering teams, architects, and technical customers, will be highly technical. That makes this role both challenging and rewarding. You'll be shaping a greenfield platform that underpins Promon's future products, while collaborating with some of the brightest minds in cloud and security. You'll play a pivotal role in driving Promon's vision forward, ensuring our new platform delivers the technical excellence needed to support millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for someone who combines

technical depth with product thinking

. You've worked as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a

cloud or SaaS environment

, and you bring a solid understanding of cloud services, ideally GCP, but AWS or Azure experience is also relevant. Your background might be in engineering, DevOps, or architecture, and you're comfortable having deep technical discussions.


If you also have experience in

cyber security

, that's a strong plus. Most importantly, you're a clear communicator who thrives in complexity, capable of inspiring confidence and aligning technical teams around shared priorities.

What You'll Do:

Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Leadership (VP Product & CPTO), architects, and other POs to define and deliver the platform strategy. Translate the company vision into an actionable backlog and roadmap for the platform team. Partner with the platform engineering team and architect to design, prioritize, and deliver new capabilities. Define technical user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring the platform's services meet engineering teams' needs. Ensure the platform is reliable, secure, and scalable: a foundation for Promon's future products. Drive alignment across teams to ensure the platform strategy supports the wider business strategy. Prioritize complex requirements from multiple teams, balancing competing needs and translating them into new platform features. Translate non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, cost-efficiency, security) into actionable deliverables. Apply FinOps practices to ensure the platform is cost-efficient and sustainable. Guide platform testing strategies to guarantee quality, performance, and reliability. Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning priorities and building trust. Bring vision and creativity to a new and exciting area for Promon, while demonstrating a proven ability to deliver. Act as an ambassador for the platform, representing it to the wider company, showcasing it to customers and partners, and contributing to marketing and thought leadership efforts to position Promon's platform on the global stage.

Where you'll work:

While we have our main office in Oslo, Norway, we're open to remote work for the right candidate. If you are not in Oslo, you are ideally located in Germany or the UK, but we are also open to other locations (as long as you are available to travel) If you're a great fit, let's talk!
