As a Product Owner, you will work within our team, contributing to the creating, developing and maintenance of our ebs product.



Tribal's ebs system enhances student engagement and streamlines operations with real-time digital technologies. It supports institutions from recruitment to retention by improving data collection, analysis, and sharing, empowering staff and students.



The role is home based with the occasional travel to our Sheffield office.



The role



As a Product Owner, you will support the development and maintenance of the current solution, as well as having a large input into the development and implementation of a brand new product utilising new technologies. You will support the rapid progress of transition and implementation of new features. Your responsibilities will include:



Engage with and explain the solution to sales teams, customers, analysts, and developers.

Serve as the SCRUM product owner, ensuring software releases are delivered predictably and with the necessary collateral.

Collaborate with development teams to prepare, prioritize, and refine the story backlog, ensuring the functional backlog is ordered and regularly reviewed to align with sprint planning and provide high-quality epics to the team.

Define detailed use cases to drive prioritisation and enhance user experience through direct user feedback.

Continuously identify and propose new ideas and product solutions, coordinating with the Development and Professional Services teams as necessary.

Convert the product vision, business strategy, and customer requirements into software features and product functionality.

Clearly define, document, and articulate product requirements and/or user stories.

Build and maintain productive and effective relationships with all product stakeholders.

Ensure that Product Backlogs are well-defined and managed effectively, meeting all contractual and statutory commitments and clearly communicating with all stakeholders.



The Skills you'll have:



Experience as a Product Owner.

Familiarity with the development Process and understanding technical constraints.

Excellent requirement gathering skills and the ability to validate and translate those requirements into user stories for the development team.



It would be great if you had:



Experience with SaaS platforms.

An understanding of the Further Education market.
