Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in guiding the development of our products, ensuring they meet customer needs and align with our business objectives. As a Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to deliver high-quality products that drive customer satisfaction and business success.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders. Prioritise product backlog items based on business value and customer needs. Collaborate with development teams to clarify requirements and ensure successful delivery of features. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries, providing guidance and support to team members. Conduct market research and gather feedback from users to inform product decisions. Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives in accordance with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe. Monitor product performance metrics and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Maintain documentation related to product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Skills

Proven experience in product management or a related field. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and Waterfall project management approaches. Familiarity with APIs and their integration within products. Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira for tracking progress and managing tasks. Experience with programming languages such as Java is advantageous. Understanding of the Internet of Things (IoT) concepts is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
