We're looking for a

Product Owner

to join our dynamic team, focusing on the domain responsible for welcoming new customers into our organisation through seamless and impactful onboarding journeys.


You'll be working closely with our

Chief Marketing Officer, Craig

, and alongside our experienced

Product Owners, Kim and Emma

, as well as a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Your role will be to clearly define business needs and ensure that every product or project initiative delivers maximum value.

As our newest Product Owner, you'll be the bridge between vision and execution. You'll...



Collaborate with our engineering scrum team, including Scrum Master, Backend and Frontend Developers, QA and DevOps to organise, prioritise and assess incoming work. Develop user stories and define clear, actionable requirements. Plan releases, analyse success metrics, and own stakeholder communications. Ensure development efforts align with both business goals and user needs.

This is a hands-on, strategic role where your primary responsibility is to

maximise product value

and ensure our onboarding experiences are not only functional but delightful.


You'll be joining a team of three Product Owners, each with their own domain focus. Yours will be all about

and making their first interactions with us smooth, engaging and memorable.

What you'll be doing:




As Product Owner for our customer onboarding journeys, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering products that align with Bluecrest's strategic priorities and create real value for our users.


You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business - and externally, to define delivery phases, communicate milestones, manage risks, and ensure transparency throughout. You'll take ownership of the product backlog, prioritising work based on value and maintaining a clear hierarchy of requirements.

Your day-to-day will include:



Leading product discovery and definition workshops, using tools like user journeys, personas, epics and story mapping to gather and refine requirements. Managing release plans and communicating delivery commitments to stakeholders. Handling change effectively, assessing impact on roadmaps and backlog, and keeping expectations aligned. Identifying and managing cross-team dependencies and risks throughout delivery. Balancing team capacity across new features, lifecycle management and incident resolution. Leading sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, ensuring goals are clear and value is demonstrated. Signing off sprint backlog items against success criteria and sharing release notes to highlight delivered value. Maintaining a healthy product through incident management and continuous improvement. Growing your domain knowledge to make empowered decisions on behalf of stakeholders. Contributing to the evolution of Bluecrest's Ways of Working from a Product Owner perspective. Taking ownership of your learning and development, always seeking new ways to grow.

What we need you to have



Proven experience as a PO or in a similar role (Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, Product Owner, Requirements Engineer). Experience / knowledge of delivering MDR projects and the regulatory / governance landscape highly desirable Analytical and solutions-oriented mindset with a natural ability to prioritise, problem solve, and adapt in a fast paced environment. Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering solutions that have quantifiable efficiencies and business growth Experience working with business stakeholders at all levels Excellent documentation and organisational skills Strong verbal and communication skills Inquisitive, analytical and solution-oriented focus A team player with high energy Versatile and able to cope well under pressure Determined to be the best at what you do
