The Opportunity

Our Product Specialist position offers so much more than serving from behind a till. We want hands-on, committed individuals to share their knowledge and passion with like-minded cycling enthusiasts, beginners, and commuters alike.

You will be a representative of Fudges Cycles and an ambassador for cycling. Previous experience in a customer service role or knowledge of cycling would be preferred, but this is not essential. You will be enrolled in training from day one, giving you the skills and knowledge to confidently meet the needs of each individual customer.

- Able to follow key instructions from your appropriate manager(s) and perform the tasks to the best of your ability

Your role: -

- Supporting the general sales functions of the office by answering phones, and emails from customers who want to know about: test rides, purchase of an e-bike, delivery, stock, etc.

- Updating customer records in the company's database as required

- Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations

- Promoting products based on the company's directives

Your experience

To be successful in this role you will have a great eagerness to learn and a passion for the bike trade, a dedication to design, and a commitment to sustainability. Experience in the bike industry is not mandatory for this role, but you must have:

- At least 6 months of experience in a progressive, customer-oriented retail environment

- Sales experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment

- Experience working in retail environments with strong branded experiences (drama, public speaking, teaching, retail sales, event-planning or customer care will also be positively considered)

Required: -

- Ability to work evenings and weekends

- 40hrs with the requirement of flexibility and weekend working

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
