Position Overview





We are looking for a detail-oriented

Product Tester

to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our

Intranet Product

. This role focuses primarily on

manual testing

and providing support to the

Product Owner

throughout the product lifecycle. While SharePoint experience is not required, it will be considered a plus.

The budgeted salary for this role is between 30,000 - 35,000

Responsibilities



Execute

manual testing

of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Develop and maintain

test cases

,

test plans

, and

test documentation

. Identify, document, and track defects using issue management tools. Collaborate closely with the

Product Owner

to validate requirements and ensure alignment with business needs. Participate in

sprint planning

,

backlog refinement

, and

release readiness

activities. Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and overall user experience. Support

UAT (User Acceptance Testing)

and coordinate with stakeholders for sign-off. Assist in maintaining quality standards and best practices across the product lifecycle.




Qualifications & Experience



Experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong understanding of

manual testing methodologies

and processes. Experience with

test case management

and

bug tracking tools

(e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.




Preferred Qualifications



Familiarity with

SharePoint

or similar collaboration platforms. Basic understanding of

Agile/Scrum methodologies

. Exposure to

automation testing tools

(optional but a plus). Exposure to

AI tools

and Frameworks

(optional but a plus). Knowledge of

Microsoft 365 ecosystem

.
