The Role
TechPoint Group, is now one of the largest UK-owned CEMs. We supply EMS and supply chain services to leading technology companies across the UK and Europe. We are opening a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey.
The position is ideal for engineers who enjoy technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and product development support. We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background in electronics, particularly those experienced in both customer support and hands-on laboratory/test work.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for component / part selection based on customer needs and competitor comparisons
Conduct product testing (crystal screening, VCXO screening, S-parameter and phase noise measurements).
Interpret and respond to technical enquiries
Design and optimise impedance matching networks and troubleshoot component behaviour.
Investigate quality returns, identify failure mechanisms, and liaising with the customers.
Develop demo boards, maintain lab safety and equipment.
Developing and updating automated test systems.
Contribute to technical marketing materials and customer outreach.

About you
Proven technical knowledge of crystal, oscillator, and filter components.
Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Physics or related field.
Strong knowledge of electronic components, especially crystals, oscillators, and RF filters.
Skilled in troubleshooting and interpreting technical documentation.
Effective communication skills for technical support and collaboration.
Familiarity with quality assurance and failure analysis processes.
